Sorry for the delay in posting, but we’ve been furiously working on shipping out our custom cookies for Valentine’s Day!   Thanks to gift giving expert Robyn Spyzman we were featured on a Today Show segment on Monday about creative gift giving ideas. 

Robyn featured our Valentine’s Day Van Gogh Gumdrops, which are cookies with outlines of Valentine’s Day images sold with edible-ink markers!  The packs come with favor bags and ribbon so kids can give away their Valentine creations to friends and family.   We were so thrilled when Kathie Lee said “we think that’s the cutest idea in the world.”  Yay!  Well, we think so too Kathie .

One of the best aspects owning my own custom cookie company, is meeting and brainstorming with other small business owners.  Through my local Ladies who Launch group here in NYC, I met Allison J. who is the owner of the wonderful Goji Gourmet so I thought I would take a moment to mention a few things about her awesome cookies!

One of my favorite customers, Amy C. from NYC, recently ordered custom cookie favors for her SIL’s baby shower since she couldn’t be there in person.  The baby is a girl and the shower was taking place in LA so she requested the baby shower cookies be bright, girly and LA chic.  We used one of our birthday images and customized it as a baby shower favor including the mother’s name and the baby’s name.  

I love the photos that Amy sent me from the shower - the hosts did a super job of displaying the cookies around the centerpiece.   I couldn’t write this post without noting what a beautiful name they chose for their pending little bundle of joy – Baby Lyra.  Too sweet!
