Gumdrop Cookies Shop’s custom decorated cookies were recently featured on the popular mom blog Design Baby. The blog is written from the perspective of four different moms and features modern must-have products for baby, toddler and family. We sent Kasey from Design Baby decorated birthday cookies with cowboy-inspired graphics to be reviewed by her son for his fifth birthday party and they were a huge hit.

Custom Cookies: Gumdrop Cookie Shop Hearts Kathie Lee!

Sorry for the delay in posting, but we’ve been furiously working on shipping out our custom cookies for Valentine’s Day! Thanks to gift giving expert Robyn Spyzman we were featured on a Today Show segment on Monday about creative gift giving ideas.

Robyn featured our Valentine’s Day Van Gogh Gumdrops, which are cookies with outlines of Valentine’s Day images sold with edible-ink markers! The packs come with favor bags and ribbon so kids can give away their Valentine creations to friends and family. We were so thrilled when Kathie Lee said “we think that’s the cutest idea in the world.” Yay! Well, we think so too Kathie .

Decorated Cookies: holiday van Gogh gumdrops

Like many people, the hubby and I hop in the car on Christmas Eve and start our Christmas road trip which includes stops in Connecticut and Syracuse. This year, I packed up the car with some our holiday van Gogh gumdrops so the kids could make their very own decorated cookies. The pack includes one dozen cookies, ten markers with edible ink as well as cello bags and bows so kids can tie them up and give the gourmet decorated cookies as gifts.

You can check out the coloring fun below. We also snuck in a photo of kiddies from Iowa thanks to Allison at the Goji Gourmetwho placed an order over the holidays for her niece and nephew. Special thanks to a few little van Goghs including Kayla, Hannah, Audra, Max and Ella for their cookie works of art!

P.S. My SIL had a great idea to do a set of van Gogh gumdrops with Valentine’s Day images….stay tuned!
